Winemaking notes
The fruit for this wine was predominantly grown on the lower terrace of Askerne vineyard in light, sandy soils.
The wine was made from a blend of 4 clones 1106, 456, 457 and 1148.
The fruit was hand harvested and sorted between 28th March and 1st April 2009 .
Part of the pick was crushed and destemmed and given skin contact.
85% of the juice was tank fermented and 15% was fermented and aged in old French oak barriques for 10 months.

Tasting notes
This wine has limes, tropical fruit and spice with floral characters on the nose.
The palate is well balanced with good texture and a long lingering sweet fruit finish.
The perfect match for Asian foods particularly Thai, Sichuan and Cantonese.
