2009 Rose

This Rose from Askerne vineyard is predominantly made from Merlot(73%)

                           with 20% Syrah and 7% Cabernet Franc.

The fruit was hand harvested and sorted. After being given some skin contact, the juice

was bled off (saignee) from the balance of the Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc then

                                   fermented in stainless steel tanks.

                                                 Tasting notes

Rich, spicy strawberry and floral characters on the nose follow through into the palate

to produce this creamy textured, full flavoured Rose. Enjoy slightly chilled.

An ideal summer wine to serve with salmon or a salad featuring seared lamb.
